Within 7 mins drive you can be in the small town of Almendricos with it´s Monday street market, shops, restaurants, banks, chemist, 24 hour health centre and train station etc. The larger town of Puerto Lumbreras with its variety of shops etc is less than 15 mins drive away and the large and famous city of Lorca with its castle, theatre and large shopping centre etc is almost 20 mins drive away. 

The coastal towns of San Juan de Los Terreros and Aguilas are 30 mins drive away. Both have lovely, safe and sandy beaches.
